Did you know one way you can tell the difference between a bachelor and a married man? Look at their footprints.
Married men walk on their heels as if the world is on their shoulders. Bachelors walk on their toes.
Don’t believe me? Look at the footprints yourself. Young boys place the weight of their body on the front of their feet when walking. Bachelors continue the tradition. But married men, their weight shifts as their heels dig into the ground.
The Book of Pook is a great book and a life changing read for many (including myself) but it is out of touch with modern times.
It was written long before hookups, online dating, or even texting were a thing.
